Selena Ware Consulting officially launched in 2019. Selena Ware Consulting has a wealth of knowledge in multiple areas of practice. Some of this subject matter expertise is related to resume assistance, interview preparation, career coaching and higher education coaching. Additional specialties include working with college students, individuals new to the job market, professionals and mid-career professionals that are looking for a needed career change. This includes individuals impacted by corporate layoffs, veterans/military transition, and those returning to work after a hiatus.
Selena Ware Consulting has over 20 years of experience in career strategies. The consultants that are aligned to the firm can facilitate 1 on 1’s as well as small group sessions based on the needs of the client. Selena Ware Consulting brings an exceptional level of enthusiasm, dedication, and nuanced perspective that makes the consulting group available to tailor an approach to each client.

Selena Ware
Selena Ware is a native of Texas, she is the daughter of Tommy and Vivian Dirden. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems. Selena is also in pursuit of a Master's Degree in Machine Learning and Data Analytics. Selena has been fortunate to earn several certifications during her career. These certifications include a Certification in Lean Six Sigma Process Improvement from Villanova University, Sharepoint Management, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Lean Agile Certification, CompTIA Security + and SAFe Certified in Product Owner/Product Manager.
Selena has been in multiple facets of emerging technology leadership for several Fortune 500 companies. This included managing the strategy for a portfolio of work that was worth 4 million plus dollars. Selena also managed vendor relationships and assisted with strategic direction for multiple industries and multiple business areas. She has a proven track record and is considered a subject matter expert in fields such as business analysis, technology leadership, data warehousing, telecom, pharmaceutical, property management, project/program management.
Selena is also a proud Navy veteran and served for 22 years. Her military background centered around Navy Intelligence, Career Counseling, Logistics, and Information Technology. She has received multiple Good Conduct Medals and 2 Navy Achievement Medals during her military career. This includes being nominated and selected for Sailor of the Year for her region. Selena has worked in the area of career counseling for over 15 years.
She has worked in multiple leadership roles within the civilian and military sectors. Selena's favorite thing to do is spending time with her husband, son, and wonderful family. She has a passion for servant leadership and assisting her clients in realizing their potential to be sought after in their field by harnessing their natural talent.
